Nissin Donbei: Kitsune Udon
In Japanese folklore, kitsune (fox) are intelligent magical creatures who love to eat aburaage (thin fried tofu). Considered to be one of Japan’s favorite udon dishes, Kitsune Udon is full of thick chewy noodles, savory sauce, and of course, fluffy aburaage. Now you can enjoy this delicious soup at home - just watch out for the kitsune!
- Peel the lid off about halfway. Take out shichimi powder and soup powder.
- Pour the soup powder first and then pour boiling water until it reaches the line inside the container.
- Close the lid and wait for 5 minutes. After that, stir and sprinkle shichimi pepper on top.
